Studio and Pool for the Island House

Located on a pastoral island in the St. Lawrence River, this concrete studio building interlocks with a lap pool and garden completing an ensemble which began with the Island House and its reflecting pool / water garden, a decade earlier. The studio’s clerestory windows illuminate and infuse the interior spaces with colour and light.
