Congregation Bet Ha’am

This sacred space designed for a reform congregation interlocks light, water and landscape enabling congregants to witness the rhythmic cycles of nature, which reflect the values of their vital religious community. An existing red brick Portland Public School renovated and incorporated into a new urban ensemble along with a new sanctuary, social hall, library, offices, reflecting pool and gardens, creating new place of worship in Portland.
